Opportunities for involvement

Fundraising: A key part of King’s Wood’s philosophy is that the school should be as affordable as possible. Fundraising is critical because the money we raise each year allows us to cover the cost of numerous enrichment activities and maintenance projects.

    • Help with the Annual Fundraiser
    • KWMS merchandise sales

Serve on the Board of Directors (after one year of enrollment)

    • Becoming a member of the Board of Directors is a wonderful way to get involved in the King’s Wood community.
    • Whether you have been a King’s Wood parent for one year or many, your time and input are pivotal to our children’s experience.
    • As a board member, you will participate in developing the policies and future direction of the school.
    • The board is also responsible for creating and approving the school budget and all the extra-curricular activities we enjoy yearly.
    • This is also a great way to fulfill some, if not all, of your volunteer hours!

    • Maintenance Day – Help clean the building & grounds and meet other families.
    • Ice Cream is served afterward! This is a favorite activity of children and parents alike.
