By choosing King’s Wood Montessori as your children’s stepping stone into education, you know firsthand the wonderful and lifelong lessons they learned by attending a school that focuses on their optimal intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development.
Below are additional ways you can contribute so we can continue to build our King’s Wood community that has “A Strong Trunk, Deep Roots, and Beautiful Flowers.”
Volunteer
We shall walk together on this path of life, for all things are part of the universe and are connected with each other to form one whole unity.
Dr. Maria Montessori
King’s Wood is a community of parents, educators, and students. Not only does parental involvement help ensure the smooth operation of the school, but it also fosters a sense of communal belonging both within and outside the immediate school surroundings. King’s Wood’s open-door policy was put in place to encourage and welcome parents, guardians, and grandparents to volunteer.
By volunteering your time at King’s Wood, you get an internal perspective on the workings of the school, the education your children are receiving, and the dedication of the teachers and administration to support the mission of the development of the whole child: mind, body, and spirit.
Your time and input are pivotal to our students’ experience. Your work on social and educational committees, the board of directors, and community outreach not only impacts the present but also helps shape the future direction of the school.
For more than half a decade, parents have been giving King’s Wood the gift of their time and talent. As a result, they have formed friendships that have endured beyond their children’s graduation from King’s Wood Montessori.
Your dedication to King’s Wood is one of the most valuable contributions you will make, and we appreciate it immensely!
