We shall walk together on this path of life, for all things are part of the universe and are connected with each other to form one whole unity.
~Dr. Montessori.
King’s Wood is a community of parents, educators, and students. Not only does parental involvement help with the smooth operation of the school, it also creates a sense of communal belonging both inside and outside the immediate surroundings of the school. King’s Wood’s open-door policy was put in place so parents, guardians, and grandparents feel encouraged and welcome to volunteer.
By volunteering your time at King’s Wood, you get an internal perspective on the workings of the school, the education your children are receiving, and the dedication of the teachers and administration to support the mission of the development of the whole child: mind, body, and spirit.
Your time and input are pivotal to our student’s experience. Your work on social and educational committees, the board of directors, and community outreach not only impacts the present but also helps shape the future direction of the school.
For more than half a decade, parents have been giving King’s Wood the gift of their time and talent. As a result, they have formed friendships that have lasted beyond the graduation of their children from King’s Wood Montessori.
Your dedication to King’s Wood is one of the most valuable contributions you will make, and we appreciate it immensely!
